we use ti 84 in our school but we got a complete class set for every math room although haven't one yourself is useful

these are the FIRST things that have ever...EVER been stolen from me(besides my ipod shuffle, which got stolen by my house cleaner lady who got fired and sued)
and I don't give a crap if you don't NEED a calculator, sometimes they are quite useful
AND when I go to school tomorrow I will go to the main office and hope to GOD that they actually put a VHS in the :censored:ing security system so that the slightest chance that the camera might have a glimpse of someone taking it or something like that, I can find out who did it and beat the

out of them
as for my cell phone, oh well

Yeah I need a calculator cause I'm too lazy to do mental math and my teacher keeps telling me to buy one and I keep telling her that we're in a depression and that i don't feel like buying a calculator in the middle of a financial crisis.

Funny story behind that one, so me and my friend are in S.S., and one of my bottom screws came out. (the bottoms are both necessary), and so the screen was fading around. My friend grabs the calculator, and says "I'll fix it!" and then he smacks the back of the calculator, making all of the screws fall out... I still haven't gotten around to buying the right torx screwdriver XDXD

Well, for starters the "losing things" wasn't in regards to your calculator, OBVIOUSLY. It was to your phone, so stop overreacting to stuff without thinking first.
Second, I'm not even gonna bother with you. You're not worth it. You can go ahead and flame me all you want, doesn't bother me right now.
Third, can you try checking the lost and found box? Maybe it wasn't stolen, you might have misplaced it or you might be able to find another one in the lost and found box. If not, tell the staff to get their asses in gear and do their jobs. I fully agree that calculators are very useful. But, I can't justify buying a $150 calculator when you don't completely need it and you can do with a cheaper one. It's your choice but think about it for a second. You can buy a cheaper one that does the same stuff, or you can have this uber expensive one that people would try to steal. No one would steal a cheap calculator. Just get one that gets the job done, it doesn't have to be the best.

Sued for an iPod shuffle? They're pretty cheap yeah?
From my knowledge of the law I can safely say you can only sue for the cost of the item and damages which generally dont equate to much more than a fraction of the cost of the stolen item.

Which for anything below say $10,000 dollars is pretty pointless due to the costs to raise a civil action with the court proceedings, Hiring of a lawyer etc.

If I'm wrong can someone who knows tell me please, jsut so I know who different the law is across the pond =]

I found out someone accidentally took my calculator thinking that it was my friends, then they realized it and put it on the air-conditioning system at my school...so I got it back
as for the phone...
its out in the dust, gone fo-e-va
but the worst part is:
my dad wont let me buy a new phone because he said I have to first get GREAT grades, clean my room and do some other shtuff
and I cant view my grades till the end of march...Im phoneless

and my parents get mad when I dont pick up, arnt they gunna have fun ;D

Ahahahaha. Well, er, good to hear got your "cool" calculator back. (Get it? Lol.)

And I say just go sneak out and get a really cheap prepaid phone (like a tracfone) and use that without them knowing until you can get a new and better phone one you get your grades up. Then, just ditch the temporary phone.

LOL funny story similar to that, so I was coming home from D.C., and I got a toy cannon as a souveneir... Well, I packed it in carry on

. They spent like 10 mins searching the thing for gunpowder or a trigger or something... LUCKILY I got it back lol... I learned a lesson.

I'm not quite depressed, but I've been really down lately with so much school work and stuff, and my on-going battle with my moron of a teacher and then just people in general. Best thing you can do is do things you enjoy a lot, or things that will get your mind off it. I just mod when I'm depressed.

Its Funny that you Say that. did you have your PSP with you. Cause When I had My wifi switch on Target. Bestbuy and The mall there Anti Theft alarms keep going off. and when I had My Wifi switch off they wouldnt React.. Weird But w/e it was fun to mess around with people walking out with Bags..
