DS Problems (Please Respond Fast)
« on: December 18, 2007, 03:14:35 PM »
My sister got a DS lite 2 days ago. All was fine and well on till twenty minutes ago, when she dropped it in the sink full of water. It was totally submereged and there was stuff in the water, so it wasn't just water. I took a blow-drier and dried most of it out. Then I took of the battery cover and dried the battery and inside the battery thing. I tried turning it on after I finished (3 minutes ago) and the power light came on. The only other thing that happend is the screen flashed white and went dead. I tried again, and again I got the same results. My sis and I are leaving on a trip tomorrow, and she wants to play it in the car. Fast help would be appretated.

rewet the mobo, then use a normal tempatured air blower, and try it

and do both of the screans flash?
However today I was brutally raped by a door handle, and none of my friends helped me up off the floor after ten minutes, instead they all teabaged me, all 10 of them...

Yes, both screens flash. And by rewet, do you mean re-submerge it or just wipe it down?

EDIT: Just making sure, should I rewet it with just water, or should I put anything in it.

10 what and what do you mean by "no screens"? Do you mean for me to cover the screens?

There is a problem with that, I don't have the screwdrivers to do that. And I don't have the time either. I'm trying to figure this out before tomorrow morning.

I don't know, that's why I'm asking for help. I don't have a triwing because I'm more of a PSP modder.

there is nothing you can do, you could maybe drill away those 4 screws, but, thats not very smart

I've had it sitting on an air heater, trying to get all the water out. Are you sure there is nothing more I could do without taking it apart?
