lol, 7 leds dont, but 1 smt rgb led does, and using a special chip, youre able to switch colors with the push of a button (in the charging port)

The smallest RGB SMT LED I found on eBay is a PLCC-4.  Did you use something smaller?

heres the pen i got... it has this rainbow lanyard on it, all the ones ive ever had, had it, so you might wanna look for that

heres the part that houses the chip

here, you can see that its protected.. its basically just a black blob

and heres the chip... just take off the leds, button and battery spring and solder wires in their place, you also need to solder a wire to the space that used to make contact with the housing

Heres all the solder points... the 5VDC + and Led common + are the same, but since theres already two different joints, i used it this way

What button did you use to change colours?  So I'm guessing you connected the button to the button points on the chip to short it?

Isn't the PLCC-4 a little big?  Thinking of doing this in a slim.

watch the vid closely, you can see where i converted the old charging port into a button

the LEDs are placed right under the top trim piece, plenty of space for any LED, as for space in a slim... idk, dremel a spot :)

Since the PLCC-4 is a multi-colour... could I just use 3 0603's instead?  Is that even smaller?  I wonder if I can have it auto switch colours.

@sniper: if its multi color, then yes, you can use it, you cant have this chip auto switch colors unless you put it on rainbow

@ryan0: although i do agree about the absent of flesh thing, you might wanna stay a little more on topic, wouldnt want you to get in trouble... ill look that song up

where can i buy those leds , cant find them on ebay or anywhere and snipe1 said he found a place.

can i solder me leds directly to the speakers or do i need the pulve2 chip ?

can you make a diagram of the setup for the circuit ? i cant quite understand it .
