how far away to paint?

ok so im thinking of painting my psp trim flat black, so my q is

how far away should the can be from the trim, and for how long do the strokes have to be

the can says 6 to 8 inches in a steady sweeping motion from left to right

remember to start and end the spray off the edge of the piece, that way you won't have build-up on the edges.  When I'm spraying larger items (car bodies, motorcycle tanks, etc.) I actually pull the gun further away from the item as I go over my edges (especially if I'm only doing a panel or respray).  Go slow and don't over-spray, and you shouldn't have any problems.

yes and before you start air spay in case the is spatter

put the can in warm water for 5 - 10 mins, warmer spray gives a more even finish.

Not really a problem for me either, most times I spray in a heated/humidity controlled booth...

yeah i think you have to sand it thou, becuase i just sprayed myne, and it didnt stick watsoever

I think I did it too close so my trim's a mess.
Hopefully, I will be able to spray over it...

If it comes out wrong, just sand off a try again.

Always sand something before spraying, gives it a better finish.
