L button works occasionally

swapped cases and now my L trigger only works sometimes. everytime i push it, it makes a clicking sound.. but won't always work. it seems to be random, any ideas or experiences? thanks

Well it sounds like your button is wearing out I have noticed they do that on many of my ds lites.  Or it could possibly be that your new case is not hitting the button perfectly and causing it to work only sometimes.  Or even both combining together and making it worse.  The only way I have found to fix it is solder on a new one

aww man, the button is definitely hitting the part, i can see it clicking when i press it. do you know where i can buy the part from? damn this sucks, thanks though

EDIT: seems to work when i blow on the button, but after a while it starts not working again
