« on: December 11, 2007, 12:31:51 PM »
this is my next modding project, can't find camera and too lazy to look but i just bought one of these babies for 250euro (costs 500 new),and YES IT DOES HAVE THE GOLD HARWARE:

i got the exact make, model, colour EVERYTHING as in the pic
hopin to do some cool stuff with it this is my 2nd guitar ever, been playin 3 and a half years now and decided its time for change
no way am i ever touching that paintjob lol hardware upgrades only
if u know ur guitars heres what i'm doing,if u dont know ur guitars ur wasting your time reading any further:
emg 81 as bridge p/up get some trivium :censored: goin down!
emg hz for neck p/up for the softer metlhead
sperzel locking tuners all round
active circuit upgrade
dunlop sustainer
internal wireless lead
altogether these upgrades cost about 500 euro, which is more than i got the guitar for but the guitar is worth bout 500 euro and these upgrades will make it super awesome!

nice guitar you got there

and about the whammy bar, you don't need one because you can just use a whammy padel.
But i don't have a whammy padel so i do use the whammy bar, it's fun

yeah but sometimes you can't use your whammy bar because you have to strum with that hand
Herman li uses a whammy pedal

i dont really use whammy much anyways and i have a really cool multi fx with a control pedal that i can use whammy or wah etc... with, the only whammy's i would use would be floyd roses do those crazy ass bends, gibson robots retail for about 2500 euro and i dont have dat kinda money lol, ordering these cool ass ultra gain pickups (emg's),dis is gunna be cool my guitar teacher gave me a pc oundcard with a preamp so i can just plug my guitar in and use any effect and amp i want to with amplitube,AWESOME!

yeah i kinda picked that up,when i 1st played gh i was like WTF THERE AINT NO WHAMMY'S ON SG'S!,heres a little guitar khistory 101 for you guys: the sg is a les paul technically, because it's part of the sg series even though lester polfus the creator of the les paul despised it,his name was still used,it was the les paul sg til it eventually became known as the sg,but the les paul and sg sound totally different,my bro has an sg,i have a strat and les paul, and they all sound totally different, jesus i kno way too much bout guitars lol, back on topic:
i rock
