Thanks for your help – as you can see the power section on the back of the motherboard is definitely different. Yes, I could test it, I have a multi meter, but I am really apprehensive and I don’t want to fry the motherboard. I have to connect the on/off switch so I can turn it on? Do I need to have the DVD drive and HDD connected so it doesn’t come up with error codes or lights? I can see some ground points, so I can start testing other solder points to check for voltage. I would like to find a bigger ground solder point. --- Can I a damage the motherboard if I Test 2 ground points at the same time with the multi meter or 2 live solder points with the multi meter at the same time as I try to find the voltage points and ground points? Please see photo of Xbox 360 power section on the back of the motherboard.
Thanks --- I am just a beginner compared to you. Your sound activated LEDs look pretty complicated. Do you think this thread needs to include 'Xbox 360 E pinouts' in the title?
