So alright, I was waiting for the bus at night in the middle of downtown last week... this thought crossed my mind as some native chick was watching me... the kind that would rob every cent out of you.  One of my friends was robbed at the exact spot several months before and so I'm a little paranoid whenever I go out at night.

And this is the thought that went through my mind...

"So let me get this straight, you want all my money?" *hands her $2.40* "You can go ahead and try to take anything of any value.  I have no bus pass for you to steal.  I have no cash except for bus fare... even then I'm $0.10 short and I was going to beg the bus driver to let me on so I can get home.  I have a broken cellphone, a broken laptop that won't power up.  A text book which you could probably steal but unfortunately nobody really cares about the history of science.  If you want, you can steal my credit cards or my bank card but really there's no point seeing they're all maxed out and max at over draft.  That and if I really had anymore money, I wouldn't be forced to drop out of university... so please, go for it.  You could kick my ass for more money if you don't believe but really there's no point seeing I have no more cash anyways and you'll just be wasting your energy.  So please, just take my total cash at this point, my pathetic $2.40 and go on your way..."

Oy...

But on the plus side, this monday apparently I won over 2k in scholarships so now I don't have to drop out.

Ive been mugged.

It aint nice.
It was more of a "I hate him, lets kick the crap out of him". But it turned out i had about £50 on me which to them was a "bonus".

The Oy bit didn't really give us an idea of wheather you did get mugged or not.

BTW congrats on the scholarship.

because she's a native chick, you judged a paragraph worth of info on her

dont get me wrong your story made me laugh my head off (except for the scholarship congratulations on that)
