Nintend Wi-FI USB adapter help!
« on: December 28, 2007, 02:08:30 PM »
I have a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector and I just got a Wii. Now I want my Wii to connect. My Wii is in my basement and my connector is on my main floor. The Wii is 33 feet horizontally away and the Wii has about 9 feet above it, so it's about 34 feet away. Is there any way to extend the range without opening it or having to buy something new?

just go to your internet settings and check how far and how good the connection is and then just decide from there. if it doesnt work just move the wii to a different room :yess:

Buy an actual Router, that will solve range problems

No I don't. But I think I have a solution. I have a ton of old computers sitting around, so I'm going to run a LAN cable down to one of them that I will set up in my basement and install the USB connecter on that.
