« on: March 28, 2008, 10:34:00 AM »
Ok hi all.. im back from holiday and have made a sig: :D

However where the background is white on my the above it is transparent on my psd and i wanted that to follow onto the forum aswell... what do i need to save it as/upload it to to allow this to happen?

Any help with either this query or how to make the sig better is appreciated :D

i mostly use png, but it takes forever to load, jpeg is good if you do stuff with full backgrounds
my top sig is jpeg, bottom is png

jpeg, doesnt show transparent backgrounds but is much faster to load, png does show transparent backgrounds but is slower

and i dont see the white anymore on the png either

and gif is good for animations (just incase you wanted to know)

Matt is right. IE doesn't render the transparent background. And, I'm on Safari(iTouch) and it's transparent for me, too.

I'm in IE. No white.

Thanks.. Done now lets see if it worked...

ok that didnt... still see white bits

The white bits are due to Bad extraction of the render.
