Error Code 16

My Xbox has it...and it won't boot the dashboard...the error is supposed to be something about the dashboard files being deleted or the clock not being able to set itself.  Anyway, AID(Auto Installer Deluxe) won't boot off of DVD and just hangs at the modified blue "X" Splash screen...any ideas on how I can fix this?  I read that I could swap out the HDD for another one...

is it set to auto start game?if it is try to run the game exploit of choice,and see if you still can run it that way,just an idea though

Don't have any exploit games...I'm just going to replace the HDD...only way I see it may work again, lol

if you have the drive unlock .. you can rebuild it using XboxHDM on your PC.

If its lock you can build a EEprom reader for like $5.00 and pull the eeprom from the xbox

HOW to read your XBOX's EEPROM and GET the HDD KEY WITHOUT removing the chip Or Modding the XBOX

and than unlock HD in PC using XBoxHDM and rebuild and lock again.

if it not reading you Cd and just hanging us a pc dvd drive with a Y spliter for the power of the xbox Harddrive to power it and should read your CD.

did u flash the bios with the modified splash screen?i had to flash my chip that shall not be named to get a splash (i own a copy of every single game i have on the harddrive(

bought it used...and there's no chip in it unfortunately, TSOP flash I think...
