    Step By Step Tutorial

    In this LED mod I added 2 leds to the top section of the ds on the left and right of the screen. First you must open it Once the screws are removed you can start working.

    First you must take your entire ds apart, well just get to the top section.

    Just follow the the leds along the colored lines i the picture above. You will have to cut slits in a few places in the plastic so the wire can fit I used a soldering iron tip to melt it instead of melt it...

    Sorry I don't have a picture but just run the wires along the wires in this picture under the ds slot and connect the wires up to the power source I used in the L and R LED mod above..

    Once reassembled this is what your ned DS will look like using a clear shell from www.coolmods.co.uk

    cant you use the power and ground from the speakers instead of bringing a power supply from the bottom motherboard and having to de-solder the wire every time you need to completely disassemble the nintendo ds lite? someone please reply when they have time.  :yess:

    if i dont get a reply before i get my nintendo ds shell and parts i will try it myself and reply back how it went.

    Hey uhh, Would 0805smt LEDs fit the same as 0603smt?

    Edit;
    0805's are a bit larger but they work the same...    :tup:
