Help with LEDs responding to a button.
« on: January 05, 2008, 12:44:32 PM »
Hi
I am putting led in my psp to shine through the R + L triggers but i was wandering if i am able to switch them on by turning on the Hold button. Is this possible or is a a new mod i could do. I could probably figure this out myself but i was wandering if there is already an easy way?

You would need a PIC for that, google it.

Have no shame in being kindly and gentle, but if the time comes in the time of your life to kill, kill and have no regret. In the time of your life, live so that, in that wonderous time you shall not add to the misery and sorrow of the world, but shall smile to the infinite delight and mystery of it.

There is a easier way other than using a PIC. I remember using a any PNP switching transistor for modding a keyboard. Wire up the buttons you want to light up, with the power leds to the transistor. kipkay.com search for the keyboard hack and follow the steps. They should be the same priciple.
