Tut: How To Put Backgrounds on your iPhone and iTouch
By PSPKicksFirst off, you will need any image you want for you background. The image must be 320x480 pixels. (I recommend the
Official AcidMods Background)
Step 1) Get your image and put it somewhere you’ll remember, like your pictures folder. (I made a separate folder for my iPod pictures)
Step 2) Next you’re going to go connect your iPhone or iTouch and enable photo synching.
To do that, you go into iTunes with your iPhone or iTouch connected, and go to your devices tab.
Step 2a) Then you go to the photo tab and check “Sync photos from:” and select your folder you put the background in. You can either check All photos or Selected folders (but make sure you select the folder with the background in it). After your done click apply and hit sync.
Step 3) Once your iPhone or iTouch is done, unplug your device, slide to unlock it, click the home button if you’re in any application or game, and then touch Photos.
Step 3a) Select your background, and touch the far left icon and hit Use As Wallpaper, then click Set Wallpaper.
Step 4) You’re done! Just click the home button and admire your wallpaper!
TroubleshootingIf your wallpaper doesn’t show up and you have a jailbroken iPhone or iTouch with SummerBoard installed, then go into SMBprefs and for use theme wallpaper select no. Then hit home again, and your background should show up fine.
