You're better off buying a build it yourself kit. Ready To Run are way more Expensive!

We geared up a high-torque electric engine, and put some degreaser on the wheels. It drifted pretty good. I can't see the point though, I've always liked drifting on mini motards.

you can also buy a cheap rc car and put pieces of pvc around the back tires, then you can also drift:)

no i can see ware this would be kind of cheaper than real drifting

now 2 semi related stories

my neighbor had a gas powered rc that he was running down the street at full speed when he lost control of it and put it in to the curb. it died so he ran down got it and brought it back, gassed it, put the glow plug in and went to start it on the starter block, at witch point it burst in to flames. when he had hit the curb it split the fuel cell, causing a fuel leak that cause the fire when he attempted to start it.

and

i snow drift in the winter, because i can not afford to go through tires. but i did my first dry pavement drift a couple of months ago and scared the living

out of my self. i had two choices, 1. slow down and let the car i was racing get in front of me so i could make the turn we needed to make or 2. go for it and e-break the turn. well being the moron that i am i did not want to slow down so i gassed it wille he braked to prepare for the turn at witch point i cut in front of him started the turn and riped the e-break. it was beautiful but i had never done anything like that on the street before and in retrospect it was probably one of the stupidest things i have ever done, and im lucky that i didn't hit any one or loose control of my car and crash.

so now that ive gone off topic i say..... idk don't be stupid like me?

Thos things arew pretty kewl i gotta admit, but i prefer real drifting, back in the days when i used to take a crappy illegal scooter donw to the local park on a rainy day*at night* and get sideways aaah memories are so refreshing ^^

i think the insurance costs would suck, but i bet you could make a little change opining a drift park in the us. little privet track for public drifting.

lol, im not talking about a mini track, they have public tracks dedicated to drifting in japan and some other places that drifting has taken off big

cant forget tires!! if your going to drift your going to eat tires well in real life any way, i don't know about the RC's
