well guys ive barley cleared my first build and im all reddy looking at building another one.

im wondering what you guys think of biostar motherboards and the Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160.

Never heard of Biostar, and the E2160 is quite a low power model, the Pentium 4 Core 2 Duo is around £50 and will easily OC to 200% original speed.

Umm well the processor you mentioned above can be overclocked to 3.4 ghz with only about a 1-2 degree C change. My friend did it and he said he liked it a lot. If you can spare the money i recommend the quad core 2.2 ghz, that can easily be overclocked to 3.5 with little temperature change aswell. But theres about a 150 dollar price difference between the two processors.

As for biostar motherboards, I don't really like them, go with either ASUS or GIGABYTE.

im just looking to build a lan cube, im not even 100% done with my comp (need keyboard mouse 2nd HDD and monitors) and im well over $1000.00 so i want to try and keep it cheap, but im just dreaming right now and doing a little research

with mine i went with ASUS and AMD... the guy we talked to suggested it, we tried it, and it works real nice liek

so i'd say go with that again

yeah im loving my 3GHz amd, and my ASUS board is the :censored:. im just dreaming out loud right now and geting a feal for different things.

Well with my PC that I'm going to get soon I'm not going AMD this time because of the fact that I can over clock the quadcore Intel that I'm going to get to about 3.6 GHz no problem.
