hey!just wondering what languages ppl here speak,i speak english fluently (duh) irish fluently (yes we actually have our own language) a bit of french and a bit of afrikaans, the ones i do in school are english,irish and french,.i learned some afrikaans off my uncle
just for fun here some bad language in irish:

Póg Mo Thón (pronounced pogue-muh-hone) =kiss my a*s

bain as ar imigh leatsa (bwin-oss-heir-immy-latsa) =pi*s off

is amadán thu (iss-om-a-dawn-who) =you're a dipsh*t]

other than english i can speak spanish fluently and read, sorta write and listen good. learning french in school so like i speak spanish i get an advantage as they are similar languages

uhm english fluently (sorta)
Did french in school
Did a years course in german and in french.

And self teaching Latin (im bringing it back =P) and greek (my parents are moving to Cyprus this year, so when i go over i want to own them o_O)

english and 12 years of Spanish that tought me to talk about my cat, say my name ask for the bathroom, say i need a shower, insult people and rob a bank.

the last year i took spanish my teacher tolde me "if we would have known you were this bad at Spanish, we wouldnt have made you take it.

one of my close friends is from India and speaks Hindi. it fun to hang at there house because they switch languages mid sentence.

YAY FILIPINO!!!!

yeah im supposed to be learning tagalog, but i never get round to it, its never like im gonna go to phillipines agian except maybe when im alot older, also the part of philipines i go, they speak visayan there which is about 90% spanish so learning tagalog, well, not really any point for me

is it me or is there alot of pinoys here? where i live in london, im the ONLY one, its kinda annoying really, everybody thinks im chinese and whatnot

and then they dont even ask where im from, they just assume im from there, and they say things like "how do you say hello in chinese" then i reply, "ill give you too reasons why i cant give you a correct answer to that, firstly, i cannot speak any chinese language, mainly the fact ive lived in england all my life and i have no chinese in me, secondly, there is NO language called chinese, there are i think hundreds of languages in china, but the most popular and most spoken ones are mandarin and cantonese (not sure if that is spelt right)

also, im learning french at school, although its kinda confusing and hard to pronounce

also 4dp, isnt is kumasta ka? lol also i tend to say mehal kita a few times

Although i dont really mind learning a language although its not very important to me, i live in england, in england, they speak english and when i go phillipines, they speak english as one of the main languages there and if i ever go on holiday when im older, its going to be usa propaly or hong kong but they speak english there (they speak english in hong kong right?)

Swedish(Born and raised in sweden)
Farsi(persian, I learned from my grandma whos a persian teacher)
English (Moved to america 3 years ago)
Spanish(Make me take it at school, and i have alot of hispanic friends.)

thats good that most people in hong kong speak english, i should be going there real soon, in this year, and i didnt want to have to quickly learn cantonese (thats the language there right?)

i'm going to hong kong for a few years once i get out of school so i'm gunna start learning cantonese,i have a few friends that speak it natively and they're going to teach me
