ive never had the guts to put leds on my slim i didnt trust my soldering skills but today i gave up and did it and now my jewel is lit up like a christmas tree

its really bright huh

wot you think i love it

might put leds in my triggers next oh i aint stoppin now

is your jewel a fan cover??
thats pretty cool, i thought it was the actual fan in place of the umd but then you said it was your jewel

if you look closley its a pheonix jewel from neubit with a fan guard over it

its just a pc fan finger guard so any good pc parts store i went to maplin cost me about £1.50

hey marioparty53 all chrome removed from psp (except the cage ) so now it aint tacky lol pics comming soon and i like it now so its staying the way it is thanx as well guys for the comments

thanx for the encouragement but its not my first mod its the first led mod ive done to my slim i cant solder to save my life but i did it ill keep practising tho

my first ever mod would have been something on the original xbox i think it was swapping the power light from green to red it was just a case of moving some wired round but still thanx

2 questions about that fan guard.

What size guard did you use?
Where did you place and what kind of screws did you use?

no i did it all by hand with a dremel took me ages lol i did it for the big speaker i got in there
