it depends it does load faster it is alot lighter but some of the mods are a bit harder to do but in my opinion its a worthy upgrade aaaannddd it looks shiny lol

well the only mod i could do is costem firmware  becouse im not the best at sodering

then yea the slim, i would prefer slim with CFW even though CFW is the same on the phat, simply because the slm is lighter and slimmer

well its really your choice if you think its worth it. 

in my opinion, its not if you already have a psp, but if you think your psp is too slow, or is too heavy, i recommend an upgrade.  but if you fine as it is, dont waster your money on a new one and invest it somethign else. liek a nano or something.  perhaps some stocks =D.
