sound reactive led question
« on: January 22, 2008, 08:52:29 AM »
i am getting ready to order my leds and resistors and chip for my sound reactive led mod.

i was thinking that since you solder the wires directly to the speaker conecter when you turn the volume all the way down the speakers would not get any signal, so the chip wouldnt get any signal, so the leds would not work

am i right thinking this?

The leds light up according to the sound.
No sound? Then no pulse from your leds.
Do you get my point?
I mean you're correct and as much as you lower the volume the less your leds will pulse.
