UMD Promblem

i just replaced my umd drive and the reader doesn't move. did i do something wrong and  a second question do i need a risistor for blue leds

1. check connections and see if any thing is obstructing it
2. no because blue leds have a forward voltage of 3.6

Ok i checked the connections there fine the reader moves trying to read it but it doesn't move horizontally

seems like your disc reader is not on the pole correctly try moving it and then the gears see if that'll help

lol i guessed because i have a umd drive here and it has same problem but i'm glad it worked

for the blue Leds you dont need a resitor but some people add one in anyway to stop glare and your leds burning out :sadno:
