Alternative Soldering for the Dual Nub

ok, after i solder the wires to the CB on the nub, i then tried to solder the other ends to the PCB, and  i kept running into trouble, so i decided to try it a different way. Im not done yet, but i feel that this way is a lot easier to solder

i like this way also... when you just slder them to the thing and then go moving it around you can mess up your power board by ripping off the copper from the board

yes thats exactly y i did this, becuase when i was soldering them on before, if i moved one, it would rip off the other

question when i attempted this the solder would not stay on the CB so am i using the wrong solder
