PSP charger plug help

so i've soldered by power input wire (yellow one) directly to the mobo by taking off the plastic thing, actually it broke, can it send a current through the lcd bracket?

Cover it with electric tape and put LCD cage back on.

It is probably short circuiting so just cover the connection with electrical tape and it should work if you wired the + to + and - to - :tup:
