analogue stick problem
« on: January 27, 2008, 06:05:56 AM »
now i know there are many many threads about this problem and i have tried everything but nothing works, its the common problem of the analogue moving by itself when i play games.
i got a clear case which included the faceplate and fitted everything together and noticed the analogue thingy was moving by itself, i had this problem before so i just thought "tighten the screws". i did tighten it reallly hard but it still does it. i opened it up and cleaned the rubber thingy and it still does it. i cleaned everything and tightened everything, still have this problem. i noticed that there was a bit of the rubber thing which had been chipped off so im wondering is this a problem?

any other solutions? thanks

Just make sure all your screws for the faceplate and analague stick are really tight and clean the analogue reader on your mobo.

you just gotta fiddle with it a bit.
It worked for me

Solder a wire from the Gold Taps on the MoBo to the analog stick, I said it million of times, a tiny bit of searching and you would have found it.

Have no shame in being kindly and gentle, but if the time comes in the time of your life to kill, kill and have no regret. In the time of your life, live so that, in that wonderous time you shall not add to the misery and sorrow of the world, but shall smile to the infinite delight and mystery of it.

do i just solder from one of the gold taps or all of them to their corresponding place on the analogue stick?

EDIT: i still dunno if maybe having the rubber contact thing have a bit chipped off might be the problem. anyone know?
