is this how I wire LED's to the 5V? [Pic inside]
« on: February 01, 2008, 03:53:20 AM »
today is a snowday so I am going to fix my forgotten psp....

The Yellow is where LED's will be. they will be white 0603 LED's...

I wired it t hold switch so I can turn it on or off whenever. so I calculated that I would need a 4ohms resistor? is that right?
Specs on led: 460-600 mcd, 2.8-3.4, 20mA

thanks!

A calculator told me I needed 20 Ohm resistors for green LEDs on the 3.6V

The powerboard is 3.6V. The mobo point is 5V

so basically if you only want one led then you don't need any resistors, but if it's more you do need them? I'm curious because I will be modding in some leds.
future mods: case swap for psp, dual nub
spray paint ps2 and hdloader

is there a guide to how much power in certain places, or is it a constant 3.6PB and 5.0MB, what about a guide where to take power from on the mobo and powerboard
