found a ps2 with a flip up screen?

i was at a pawn shop and found a ps2 with a flip up screen,if the ps2 dont work right can that screen be used for the tv out on a psp?and havent had a ps2 in a while any ideas what a noob can do to make it cool?

you might be able to hook it up to the psp out if you cut the psp cables read this thread and see if it helps.

they have that tv out thing and mod it in some way to work with the screen im sure ittle work you just have to test around with it

im pretty sure the slim only outputs hi def/component (if it does output normal definition then ignore the rest of this post),and thru prior experience i know that the screens used in this type of application actually accept vga input,you will have to take the screen apart and there will be alot of soldering involved,but basically u gotta find where the ps2 screen converts rca-vga and then hardwire a component to vga adapter to the screen itself,u r gunna have to use an external power source tho,unless u got any laptop batteries lying round

The PSP slim can output both composite and component. There is a very small chance that LCD will be able to display component signals properly.
