psp speakers no sound
« on: February 10, 2008, 01:23:23 AM »
K I am doing the sound reactive leds in both triggers and they were working fine with sound and everything right before I was going to put the lcd housing on and the possotive wire for the right led came off. So I soldered it back on and tested it out again just to make sure and now there is no sound..I have re soldered 3 times and there is still no sound coming oout of the speakers but the leds still react when I play a song or navigate throught the pss menue.

Anybody know what the problem is...and I am not using the chip...the left led is hoocked up to the left speaker and the right led is hooked up to the right...
thanks in advanced for you feedback...

the speakers stoped working when I re-soldered the right led to the right speaker...DO you think that if the poos and neg on the speaker is toutching then that would be the cause of no sound.....but the led still lights up and reacts to songs and stuff.there is just no sound

Just recheck the stuff maybe some crappy wiring or short
having a higher post count doesn't earn respect in the forums, quality posts do.

its probly beacuse the solder heated it up and it got a lil too hot im sure but i had a broken speaker or something like that coz it over heated i had to buy a new one (by the way there really hard to find!)
