WiFi Issues
« on: February 15, 2008, 05:45:04 PM »
Recently I have been haveing trouble with my wifi. I can only get about 70% connection when I am standing 5 feet away from my router.  I have tried 3 different wifi boards and none of them work. I have a TA-079 (if that helps at all).

Any help would be apperciated.

after that I would question your psp or more likely your router.  certain wep or wpa's can cause a slowing of transfer.   but that is just one cause

Would my router being b/g affect how the psp will connect to it?

bad router make a windersurfer to add directional force to your wifi antenna to direct your wifi in the direction of your psp not everywhere else http://www.freeantennas.com/projects/template2/.

hope this helps

I did some tests today with my friend and his psp connects fine with my router.

Also, I used to play my psp online with the same router but stopped playing for a while and now I have a very bad connection. Maybe we changed some configuration settings on the router but idk.

Thanks for the responses but I still need more help. :boxed:
