Hi, I am a super noob at modding... and i was wondering if it was possible to put in a 2nd memory card reader in the psp and connect the one already built in and the one you have added to act as one... like say I have a 8gb card in my first slot and a 8gb in my 2nd slot can i make it read it as 16gb or is that not possible?

It's not impossible, but it would not be a simple task of wiring two cards together.  You would need a control chip that would be able to span data across the two cards.  Look up info on a raid controller, same concept.

man that kinda sucks, but would it be possible w/ a raid controller... is there any way to hook up a raid controller to a psp? because that would be a really nice thing to have

Um, no raid is mainly for traditional hard drives. The psp dragon double expand is the closest thing to having two cards work as one, atleast for SD cards, but it only works for SD cards.  It will not support SDHC.  So the max is 4GB if you use traditional SD cards, but there are some companies (main out of Hong Kong) that have produced 4GB SD cards, but getting them to work is a gamble.

if you wire the two slot in parallel, meaning take wire and wire then pins on one slot to the pins on another slot, only problem i see with this though is that the psp might see them as one and make changings card pretty hard because the two cards would be seen as one so the data would be on the two randomly not on just one.
you can't fix stupid
