Online game random keypresses
« on: February 21, 2008, 06:25:06 PM »
I am having a problem when I go online in syphon filter: dark mirror. Right when I connect to the internet, my psp starts to press random buttons (mostly the face buttons and sometimes the d-pad).  I have used the UMD and a back up that I made a while ago and I still have this problem.

I have never seen or heard of this problem before and I have no Idea how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

are you sure its not a problem with your psp? have you removed your faceplate latly as this can somtimes make your psp analog go crazy and do its own things.

Maybe theres dirt inside the faceplate
having a higher post count doesn't earn respect in the forums, quality posts do.

thanks,

does it do it when you use the internet browser? of not then try re-flashing the firmware.

I have taken off my faceplate but I don't think the analog is the problem, it's the ABXY buttons and d-pad.

That could be the problem, I will try another faceplate later.

The problem does not happen on the internet browser and I have been having this problem on 3.80 m33-5, and since then I have reflashed my psp to 3.90 m33-2.

Edit: I think I fixed it by fixing a registry key in the firmware. Thanks for the responses :victory:
