BATTERY PROBLEM!

Ok im working on Pandoras Barrey but posted here because im not to that part yet. But when i opened battey i see this huge silver coded thing looks like lead paper?? And on other side ther is no mother board its like inside paper thing??? And its like super glued into the pattery case?? the only board on it i c is on the top where all the wires are spose to run.. This is a new psp when i got it last christmas not this one. And its a Phat. Any answers what i do to get to board or get battery out??

WTF happened lol.... my psp wont work without charger not that i did the thing to battery and no light comes on when charging here is link to show what i did
