noob with a proplem

ok so i downloaded a theme and extracted the contents into my THEME folder, but when i try to apply the theme it says "an internal error has occurred" is something wrong with my psp? or am i just doing something wrong?      my custom firmware is 3.71 M33-2

Was The Theme For Your Firmware, or
Dont Have to Acctivate Them, in the VSH Menu

i went and found a new one that im positive was for 3.71 and tried applying it and it still says there is an internal error

When I Did It I Folloowed This
How to install a safe custom theme on psp 3.71 / 3.71m33

But, You May Need To Activate It In Plugins
