PSP sound sensitive led help
« on: March 02, 2008, 10:18:24 AM »
Ok, i wired 2 leds directly on the speakers, both of them work fine but when i assmeble my psp the right led trigger stops working. I looked at the tutorials and stuff but it never tells you how to wire (like put the wires around the lcd brace, over it, under it, where?) them properly so it work short circuit...

Pictures and info for would be nice  :whoosh:

they have to go under the lcd brace of course, open it up, there is either a short circuit or a bad connection
say goodbuy 2 psp's sound card =)

make sure they are not shorting out anywhere, thats what happened to me once it makes your sound from the speaker its wired to not work either. I would suggest hot gluing your joints.

And that other guy is saying that if you hook leds directly to your psps speakers they will burn out your psp internal sound card after a while, you may want to add some resistors.

wt:censored: its common practice to wire leds directly onto the speakers, although i recomend wiring to a LM380 i dont see how it will fry the psp sound pcb

thats what i have heard from a few people, i myself have my leds wired directly to my speakers with a resistor and have not had any problems.
