drivers! if only i had known sooner!

i wasn't aware that graphic card drivers had such a dramatic effect on gameplay...i got the latest that i could find from nvidia (the 169.07 or somthing...)..updated, and now, CoD4 and Crysis play MUCH MUCH better

in CoD4 i can now play at 800x600 with 4x AA ,( i used to be 640x480)

in Crysis, i can have the shaders on high! it used to be super slow but its substantially better


if you do not have updated drivers i suggest them highly...if only i knew sooner!

that's why I constantly check for updates on mine....Intel+AMD in the same comp=BATTLEFEILD xD

Yeah, im gonna have to keep the updates rolling when my 512mb 8800GS OC'ed to GTS Speeds iMac arrives ^^

i use the automatic update thingie from nvidia and i never update my cpu divers...lol

mine were the standard boot camp drivers, but i read a guy maxed out his CoD4 on a 2.2 ghz santa rosa mbp when using the forceware drivers, so i tried them out and they certainly work wonders

no auto updates either :/
