Need help with a DS lite part

Wondering if anybody knows what the part is that is underneath the powerswitch of the ds lite next to it it is marked L2 is it a capacitor, resistor(i doubt),  inductor, and i need the value it aciidently broke off when fixing the powerswitch any help would be great thanks

well usually its a capacitor its labeled C and then a number and resistor is R and a number so I that part will be a part with the name starting with the letter L but I cant think of anything right now.  Its possible it might work if you bridge it but I would not risk it.

L components are inductors and filters

bypassing them can be dangerous and is not reccomended

if you kept it, just look for a metal pin on it if you've lost the contacts your in a spot of trouble....

if you did lose the contacts then just try bypassing it with a bridge as they are not polarised and you've got nothing to lose anyway
