Internet connection problems
« on: March 07, 2008, 09:34:56 PM »
Ok, so my sisters computer had windows 2000 on it (yes its old) and I decided to put xp on it cause 2000 sucks. So I put it on and everything works find except for the internet. It says its connected but when I go to the internet explorer (using IE 7 on SP 2) it wont like load any pages. It acts like its going to load a page but it just sits there loading and never actually loads the page. It did the same thing before I installed IE 7 and even before I installed xp. That was the main reason I installed xp hoping that the net would work again. Any idea's whats wrong?

The internet used to work on W2K. It stopped working for some unknown reason. I shouldnt have to setup a connection since it should be plug and play... It says its connected just wont load pages...
