PSP Dual Screen
« on: February 28, 2008, 04:59:31 AM »
i Think it wil work cause you put 2 LCD screen in the connector but first you have to pull off that black thing on the ribbon
than you have 2 screen but the same image i know but its posible.... Right?

well the first few connectors are for the top half of the screen and the second lot for the bottom so if wired correctly you could probably make the psp's screen image span across two screens, but i dont want to try this due to the obvious risks

thanks

The dual screen probably won't work, mainly due to power issues and signal degredation issues. Also, you can't simply wire two lcds together to have them span across two screens, you would need a control chip to to spilt that signal across two screens.

Slap some 220 uF 16v caps on the Red Green and Blue lines , should fix the dim-ness.

it could its just none of us really would try or want to for that matter the psp has a beautiful screen and splitting it over 2 would only ruining it maybe a psp with a bigger screen or projector in it for playing on walls that would be cool.
