hey guys

my friend owns a ps3 and has wireless... He just got his wireless btw...set it up and everything to play online on ps3... ONE PROBLEM he can't because apparently The UPnPNAT type does not work because the connection to the server always times out...

does anyboday have this same problem?

and can anybody tell me please how to fix this problem, i want to play oline with my bud  :psp:

is there any way i can talk to him directly to help him?  (AIM or MSN)
also, what type of gear is he running? (Linksys, Netgear...)

yeh i cant play online either as my connection keeps dropping out on my wireless. i got a netgear one but im getting a new one soon i hope and hopefully that will fix it and if all else fails i will just have to go wired

my mate uses a syslink with a booster and hes having no problems

well since i got my apple timecapsule i have had no problem with my ps3 connection or my laptop all is working now thnakyou apple lol

did he read the box for the wireless router and make sure its got a strong enough connection for wireless gaming?

cuz i did the same thing, then read the box and was like "ohhh thats why xbox live isnt working"

so im getting a better one someday
