I GOT CRYSIS

tis freakin awesome
i figured since the demo was so freakin' awesome and i :censored: myself, i'd get it

now my bowels are ruptured, its quite painful, but at least the cause is sooooo awesome
P.s. the zero grav. level is awesome, love the mechanics of it, its just confusing


GET IT!! then we can play online

next time i play i'll fire up FRAPs and get some shots...im in school right nao but its friday so ill be playing nonstop for the next 48 hours.....

I got it for pc, but i am takeing it back, it doesn't play to well. I will get it for the 360 if it is out on that.

not coming out on 360, there is rumor of ps3 release though (no confirmation)

i run crysis on custom levels
i got 2 things
one is called lexus silentium, got it from crymod, it claims better looks and performance and i guess its right, then i got somtihng that allows DX10 features on DX9 (i run xp so no DX10)

i leave most custom settings, except postprocessing which can really really slow it down i put on low (i turn it to high to show off the neat visuals to my friends) and i turned game effects to low, and i turned object quality to medium

the others are labeled 'custom' because of my config settings with lexus and the DX10 thing

runs really nice i love it!
and i got maps and skins, like i play with a korean nanosuit now, and i got a killer desert camo scar, and a flame decal smg, cool stuff like that

i got it running last nigh, im playing it on medium and im getting my as$ handed to me, its been so long sense ive played a FPS but it looks like it will be fun

Ive had it for a while and I absolutely love it! Unfortunatly when I do 'auto sense' on my hardware for the graphics level, I get tossed in 'low'. Even then I dont mind because the game still looks/works like a dream! Its such a good game Im saving up to get that 'low' to a friggin 'high'. Thats my whole mission right now! Anyone still play it?

Good luck getting it to Very High lol, its not actually possible yet.

People say you can get to borderline high/very high with Triple SLi, 2 Quad Cores, and the rest to match, but it will set you back around $10000

whats everyone's framerate for it here?? Because with my setup on low I'll prolly hit around 30-40 fps

on low i get like 60-80 fps


but on my current settings the average is 30, and occasionally will dip a bit below in difficult areas, but otherwise plays wonderful
(of course after i spent forever trying to find the perfect settings)

very low at 5 fps? I think mninimum is 2 gigs of ram.

im using 2.4ghz intel core 2 duo, 4 (though xp only can use 3) GB of RAM, nvidia geforce 8600m gt w/ 256 mb of vram
and dx9

works wonderfully with my custom configuration
you should be able to run it on low/mediums
