Analogue Movement

as the name sugests im having problems wiht the analogue stick. its not simply the case being untight or dirty contacts because ive tried both things. ive also put an oem faceplate and analogue but it has the same problem. The analogue constantly moves down and the analogue is as tight as possible and so is the faceplate to the backplate. any help appreciated

try losening it a bit? if that doesnt work, check your mobo to see if your not missing a contact

move the little gel thingy thats in the LCD cage up to the point where its almost out and then put your face plate back on and it will push it back down with the analog stick contacts touching it, thats what i did and it work good.

if you have tryed everything as a last resort solder it directly to the mobo with 30 awg kynar

Ok, what you'll want to do is take out your analog. Pry off the chip on the bottom of the analog. There should be some black lines on the side you don't normally see.. Take an eraser and lightly rub in along the black lines. Put it back together and try it out. It should work better. What happens is the greese in the analog drips down onto the circuts, shorting them out.
