umd drive making noise

ok, the day i took my psp apart, also the day i broke my screen connector, i took the lcd cage off, then i put it back together, correctly from what i remember, but now, whenever my umd drive is reading a disc it makes this really loud (semi) sound that sounds like its going to make a nice scratch across my disc, buut doesnt....so idk

i found out about it today, during english class, while we were watching the lion king, i was listening to my ipod and [wanted to] play my psp
screw paying attention in class...

any ideas?

did you but a clear case or anything?

did you put every screw tightly?

i bought a clear faceplate, but this started happened before i got it too, i just didnt think it was as loud, cuz my bedroom is much louder then a classroom watching a movie

so true, so true i got snaped using the school wifi for going on acidmods in Maths . lol back on topic... yea i also had a psp that does that i think if you like get somthing in the UMD motory thing it starts making a realy loud noise well thats wat happend to me anyway. Try a different umd drive if you have one

i kno what it is    its the motor disc thingo's are hitting the backplate so take apart your psp fully put the umd drive in see where the disc's are then sand that bit away =D
