Need LCD Screen

I need to get a new LCD screen for my PSP slim i just got but i cant seem to find it any were.Is dealxtream good to buy from?
 I live in the US.
 oh and what is a good way to put the back lite ribbon in.

im guessing i did the same thing you did, screwed up the little (smaller) connector trying to put it in?

i tried:
knife- didnt work
fingers- too big, didnt work
finger nail clippers/tiny pliers- worked but connector was broke by then

mines coming sometime, im problly gonna use the nail clippers again

from what ive heard, DX isnt a bad website, and you can trust them, but dont count on it from what ive heard

Well my smaller connection is fine my screen on the inside is shatered so i get the big black circles and the multi clollor lines.The back light is fine.

 I bought it off some dude. but i didnt think finding a Slim PSP LCD screen was that hard.

I can find Fat ones but slim is hard to get. Dealxtream is sold out do you know were eals to buy one?

i fugred after taking the broken one out to not loose any pieces that i would put it back to geather but it is hard to slide the little ribbion in i might try what you did.

Pumping life into this old post. So my three year old was playing Lego Indy today and got pissed off and slammed something on the PSP. The result kinda looks like he shot the PSP with a bb gun, right in the center of the screen. So did the two of you get your LCDs (or anyone else) get one from dealextreme and how do they look? I plan on buying one from them but figured I would reach out to you all and see if anyone could provide me with some feedback.

AND YES, for all that don't know me. My three year old does play the PSP and even has his own. Not to mention playing 360. And yes he plays them well. It wont be long before he owns me in halo3 . Maybe one day I'll record him playing and post it to youtube

no i never got a slim screen yet they when up in price after being out of stock for months. so i am still looking for one too.

Good look trying to find a cheaper price, I'd try buying a second one or similar if but I'd doubt you find it cheaper

OK heres the deal, I'm going to buy one from ebay that happens to be in Brooklyn so it should only take 3 days to get to me at most. I 'll let you all know after the install.

Lol! at least you will know it's not some cheap knock off.  mind you i wonder what the one's from DX are like. Never had to buy on so far.

they do have some in wow but i will see what happens to nico and see if he get his and ask who he bought it from. i do hate ebay though. i might have to break down and go to dealextream or cnn.cn.
