N64 controller with xbox/ps2 analog

Is it possible, i've been googling around for documentation on the n64 analog to see if they would be compatible but i haven't had any luck.

I want to replace the n64 analog stick with one from an xbox or playstation controller analog stick and i just need help getting started

edit: well i feel like a jerk... i forgot about the benheck forums, and i found a tutorial there that should ge the job done
