NES Controller MP3 Player [With Loudspeaker!]

Ok, this project has taken about a week or two's worth of non-stop work, research, and testing
It's hard to explain how I crammed all this stuff inside a NES controller, but I did (amazingly with no planning at all, just eyeballin' it)
Honestly, the hardest part was probably the Mini USB port i had to solder to and extend...
the nest hardest: removing needless parts and bypassing them so the player still worked
and the next: figuring everything out on my own (pinouts, common grounds, etc), because nobody has hacked a JVC-XA before apparently...

Long story short: I stuck a JVC-XA mp3 player and a cellphone speaker inside a NES Controller

btw i didnt use tactile switches either, i kept the PCB and silicone/carbon pads that came with the controller so i could keep that retro feel

oh also, in r/l, the holes dont look that way unless you hold it in the light just right, but its only because i cant find a way to smooth out the edges of a hole that small

thats what hard works gives u, a very nice mod.
I think it would look even cooler if u paint the screens siding gray instead of blue(thats just me)

verrry nice man you've got skills. i may try one day to get a PC inside a cardboard box. and have it run. or, make a wooden PC. i dunno, need some crazy case mod ideas for the next PC my dad finds in a skip.

@ProperBritish: lol, good luck with that =P...  Maybe you should do the opposite of what I'm going to do, and try to fit a computer inside an Xbox360 case
