ok i LMAO at this but anyway my brother told me that his hard drive had started smoking then the pc turned off.He thyen comlained that the pc didnt work and he has just braught it round to mine and the hard rive is . It just keeps clicking and its not only the hard drive which is becuase ive tried another hard drive in the pc, ie mine and it turns on but just goes onto the blue error screen for a split second then restarts. the ram works fine but any ideas what it is, is the motherboard :censored:aswell and its ive been told its the graphics but the graphics are onboard so any ideas cos i havnt a clue

well when my mum and dads pc exploded with smelly black smoke out the back of it the PSU had blown and replacing that fixed everything

the clicking is a bad thing, the click of death

basically its a time-bomb for when the read-write head is gona crash into the disk i think

he needs a new one

get a new one, reinstall windows, and hope for him that he had a backup of all his stuff
