wall sockets?

..... i dont know if this is in the right section, but does anyone know how much Volts an maH's or aH's a standard wall plug in the US puts out?

120 volts

if ur lookin at the utility(for like dish washer or for ur washer and dryer its 220)

u sure it is 220 ?
because here in the netherlands (most of europe too) have 230V at every wall socket

yes im pritty sure.

thats in teh netherlands
 teh u.s. has a diff setup
thats why when i go to europe i bring converters and setups that bring the voltage down

but my psp charger i can put right in the wall with no converter
it converts for me lol
and charges in like 10 min LOL!
compaired to 30 here

EU = 230v

im puttin out 120 volts with my regular plugs
but then im puttin down 220V in teh utility plugs
which would be dish washer/ washer, dryer air conditioner

the house has 220v runnin to teh house from the power company

120 in Canada it's labeled on inputs for every electronic thing I see and have measured the voltage myself.

that is very possible as the range is 100-127v but i think the average that was found in a massive nationwide survey a while back was 110v

it depends on teh electric company
chances are itll be 120
mine was 122.3 v
older houses/more rural areas get 110 because they are not in teh city
where majority of the power is being ran to..
over a distanve electricity loses voltage
so it has to be steped up every so often if its not high enough
thats why when tehy ruun transformer lines thro teh desert at very high voltage
im talkin like 40,000-80,000 volts
