Srry for making a second topic but i really messed up something now! I was messing with my broken drive a bit and while the ps2 was apart and ON i pressed the switch that tells the ps2 that the tray is closed. The red and green led light up at the same time and now everytime i close my tray the green led lights even when the ps2 is off!!!!!!! What is wrong???

when you turn it off, does the screen and everything stay on or no?
try doing what you did the first time cuz it might counteract it

i solved it with a BIG luck, the problem was that the copper lines on the ribbon connecting the power button circuit bent and touched each other, i dont know why but i removed the ribbon and found it
