i need helpwith moding my psp

heres what i want to do. i need to know what i need.

i want 2 leds in the back where the umd thing is.

a led in each trigger.

a led for the d pad

a led for the x o ^ and [] buttons

maybe a led for the annaloge

i want each led to react to sound

i would like the leds to change colors

i want to be able to activate the leds by holding the sound button for 5 secs


please help me

wow u have quite the list there. i can tell ur a newbie and that seems abit extreme for you. i suppose you could try but u could mees up your psp cuz thats not that easy. for all those i dont exactly now wut type of leds you need but you will also need a chip to get the leds to fade at the same time, and for making the note button turn your mod on/off  you can ask someone who knows pic programing like cyber or nic0, they should be able to make a firmware to do that. but thats all i know, and if you finnish this psp please post pics

hmmm u can do it but im not sure you can make sound reactive leds change colour there are chips around but i dont keep up with that stuff. I would say just make a max of 4 leds sound reactive and not changing colour, cas you dont wana stuff up your psp if this is your first real mod

exactally how?

amd + that alot of leds if u want to connect all those to ur speakers then you blow ur sound chip u need to use possibily 3 power siurces of the psp like 3 lm386 chips i say have fun trying to close up ur psp

R u asking about the analog? if so im going to get a clear one, which is ho i plan to put one in i guss.how many leds do you think make sound reactive? and which ones.also im gunna make seperate ones for left and right speakers.

no im saying how are you suppose to get the analouge to light up like 0603 leds are small but where u going to put it exactally to light it up.  theres no space.

i really dont know. i just thought it be cool. if anyhing ill put leds near it so they shine outside the clere led

mhmm d pad get in way of wire if u do a bad soldering job.and they onyl way to get a analouge to light is to make a hole where  a razor goes and glu the cap on to the faceplate and shove a led in that lil space
