hi

just starting on this does anyone know of a good begingers book for c programming
ive looked on ebay.co.uk and dont know which would be the best to get and ideas???? :faint:

Well I've heard C coding is hard to start with but if your determined then just google it. I've found various books by trying it but keep in mind coding is hard to learn from a book.

well i tryed ebboks and was doing my head in keep back on forth writing the code and back to the ebook so if i had a book i can jsut learn abit easyer

there is this one called "the C book" i had to get the lirary to buy it, but they did and is pretty good..

Danm mate, TBH, you outta start simpler, like java or Qbasic. C is pretty hard (not as hard as C++), but if you learn this, then you can almost master everything on programming.

well my mate is a master on programming he said try c# and make your way up i got a book of ebay and it tells you what this and that means but the book is doing my head in :censored:

i have tried to learn how to do C but my mind whent boom.

so i might take a class at the college on c or something.

i realy what to program PIC's so much you can do.

well yes and no c++ has harder coding and other stuff C# is just mainly for writing your own little programms and stuff

i dont know bout C but C++ i taught myself a fair bit in a few weeks with a book called "C++ for dummies" that i got from the libary it's a great lil' book (well not that little but u get the idea) it comes with software to such as Dev-Cpp and compilers and cygwin ect.

Hey Look I found a Book at Borders Called C++ for beginners it came With this bloodshed C++ aka DevCpp Heres a Link to The Beta that came with the Book Dont Worry Guys its not an Illegal download its Freeware. http://www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html

Lol I was about to post the exact same thing. Thats what I'm learnin on. Also, make sure to pick up the latest version of the software they give you. Mine had tons of memory leaks in it..
