psp upgrade problems

ok i had a 3.71 and  i upgraded to a 3.93 the when it came out, but i started to get glitchs and my psp is saying that it doesn't have a memory stick till i blow in the port. im new to modding and i am trying to learn how it but i just play on my psp, music, and video but it is  :censored:-ing up on me.
it's better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid then open it and remove all doubt

this sounds like a dodgy memory stick/Wifi board, not really anything to do with the software side.

From your description so far your PSP is on a official Sony firmware, as there is no 3.93M33.

It may or may not be a hardware problem.
1st to determine if it is, U should try and restoring default settings from under the settings menu in XMB.

If that doesn't work your MS/WiFi board is most likely broken, but it could even just be a loose pin that just needs some soldering.
